[:it]Nella mattinata di Sabato 9 Giugno si è tenuto l’evento di anniversario dei 15 anni del Firenze Race Team, o meglio, 15 anni dalla prima competizione in Classe 1 tenutasi nel 2003 a Leicester in Inghilterra.
Numerosi i partecipanti all’evento, tra cui membri del Team dall’anno di fondazione, personale docente del nostro Ateneo dai diversi corsi di Ingegneria e persino di Economia, e alcuni degli sponsor.
Sin dalla mattina presto, i membri attuali del Team si sono ritrovati al Centro Didattico di Morgagni per i preparativi. In modo organizzato hanno allestito l’ingresso per il tavolo di accoglienza e registrazione degli invitati, la hall dell’ingresso aule ed infine l’Auditorium per la presentazione; dopodiché gli invitati sono iniziati ad arrivare.

Condotti gli ospiti nell’Auditorium, l’evento ha avuto inizio con i ringraziamenti del Professor Capitani, attuale Faculty e responsabile progetto sin dalla fondazione, e il professor Ferrara, che da sempre segue i progressi del motore delle nostre vetture. Ci hanno raccontato di come e perchè i due professori, sollecitati da Daniele Rosti e Tommaso Iacomelli, ex studenti di Ingegneria, hanno dato il via a questa attività.
Successivamente, il discorso di Daniele Rosti ha riguardato il perché due studenti si sono interessati alla Formula Student, un discorso incentrato sulla loro passione e la dedizione ai loro studi. Daniele ha anche omaggiato uno dei primissimi sponsor del Team, presente all’evento, Raffaele Tampolli, in quanto a livello progettuale ha per primo insegnato a un gruppo di studenti come lavorare con i macchinari per ottenere i componenti, ed il know-how è stato tramandato sino ad oggi. Gli applausi sono stati per lui interminabili. Dopo una breve introduzione, il Team Leader attuale, per l’occasione nel ruolo di mediatrice, ha chiamato sul palco tutti i team leader dal 2002 a oggi, in una cosiddetta intervista a “tavola rotonda” per ottenere un’atmosfera informale e per coinvolgere il più possibile la platea. Da sinistra verso destra: Alessandro Dell’Uomo, Lamberto Morrocchi, Caterina Lotti, Leandro Ronchi, Francesco Ristori, Pierluigi Tozzi, Amedeo Tesi, Tommaso Iacomelli, Tommaso Innocenti, Claudio Annicchiarico, Andrea Massini, Daniele Rosti. Le domande hanno riguardato le esperienze personali di ciascun Team Leader, il loro rapporto con tutti i colleghi, l’officina e il “vivere” in officina; e ancora, cosa ha significato la Formula Student e come ci consigliano di approcciarci per continuare a migliorare e a crescere. Non è mancata la domanda all’ex Faculty Advisor che ha seguito il Team in tutti questi ultimi anni. I momenti più divertenti ? Gli aneddoti di questi anni, i ricordi sono affiorati e le risate hanno invaso l’Auditorium; suggerimenti dalla platea.. ed ancora risate. Infine, la scena si è spostata su di noi, che abbiamo presentato il lavoro svolto sulla Guida Autonoma, i progressi fatti e gli obiettivi che ci siamo posti per questo progetto. La chiacchierata è continuata davanti al buffet, in cui è stato più facile parlare con i nostri predecessori a tu-per-tu. Una giornata emozionante e che ci ha fatto riscoprire le radici e la tradizione di questo Team, degli sforzi che sono stati fatti in tutti questi anni, sia da noi studenti , che dei professori che l’Università che hanno investito e che stanno investendo su di noi. Le loro esperienze, le loro difficoltà saranno le nostre, ma sappiamo che il supporto tra ex-colleghi non verrà mai a mancare.
Vorremmo ringraziare tutti i partecipanti e chi non è potuto venire, ma ci ha comunque trasmesso il suo entusiasmo. Infine, ringraziamo anche Meccanica 42 S.r.l per aver contribuito al successo dell’evento!

[:en]On Saturday 9th June 2018, the Firenze Race Team celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Team: 15 years since the first Class 1 competition held in 2003 in Leicester, England. A first and great success of a long series.
There were many guests at the event, including previous members of the team since the year of foundation, institutional personalities from the various courses of Engineering and even Economics, and some of the partners and sponsors.
Since 7.30 in the morning, the members of the Team met at the Morgagni Department for the preparation of the celebration. Once the entrance was set up for the reception and registration of the guests, the hall of the classroom entrance and finally the Auditorium for the presentation, the guests began to arrive.

The event began with the thanks of Professor Capitani, current Faculty and project manager since the foundation, and Professor Ferrara, who has always followed the progress of the engine of the vehicles of the Team.They told us of how the two professors, encouraged by Daniele Rosti and Tommaso Iacomelli, former students of Engineering, started this activity. Later, Daniele Rosti’s speech, focused on why two students were interested in Formula Student, a “touching” speech about their passion and their studies. Daniele also paid homage to one of the team’s very first sponsors, Raffaele Tampolli, who attended at the event, as he was the first to teach a group of students at the design level how to work with machinery to obtain components, and the know-how has been passed down to the present day. The applause was endless for him.  After a brief introduction, the current Team Leader , for the occasion in the role of mediator, Caterina Lotti, called on stage all the team leaders from the first year until today, in a so-called “round table” interview to get an informal atmosphere and to involve the audience as much as possible. The questions concerned the personal experiences of each Team Leader, their relationship with all their colleagues, the workshop and the meaning of “living” in the workshop; and again, what Formula Student means and how they advise us to approach us to continue to see an improvement and a growth. The question to the former Faculty Advisor who has followed the Team in all these last years has not been missing. The most beautiful and funny moments came when the anecdotes of the various years were told, memories have surfaced and laughters have invaded the Auditorium, suggestions from the audience, and still laughters. Finally, it arrived our turn to show the work done on the Autonomous Driving, the progress made and the objectives we set ourselves for this project. The discussion continued in front of the buffet, where it was easier to talk with our predecessors.
An exciting day that has allowed us to rediscover the roots and tradition of this Team, the efforts that have been made over all these years, both by us, students, and by the professors and the University who have invested and are investing in us. Their experiences, their difficulties will be ours, but we know that the support between former colleagues will never be lacking.
