From September 10th to September 14th, we participated in the Formula SAE Italy at the Varano de’ Melegari racetrack, giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our value and commitment.

DAY 1: This experience began with team registration and pit setup to kick off the first day of competition. In the afternoon, we tackled the Technical Inspection challenges, where we passed the mechanical inspections and the first part of the autonomous inspections. We then moved on to the Team Leader briefing to plan and define the objectives for the following days. The day concluded with the opening ceremony, which gave us the right amount of excitement and energy to tackle the various challenges.

DAY 2: During this day, we completed various tests; we began the morning with the Business Presentation, the EBS and Brake Test, and the Cost Event. In the afternoon, we moved on to the Design Event tests for DV and CV (Driverless Vehicle and Combustion Vehicle), successfully passing both categories, before dedicating ourselves to the Drivers’ Briefing. The day concluded with the Business Presentation and Design Event (CV) finals. This was certainly a day of great collective effort, reflecting the team’s months of hard work and determination, which strengthened our resolve for the following days.

DAY 3: We are very proud and excited to announce our results as finalists for the Business Presentation and Design Event, reflecting the sacrifice of the previous months that placed us in this category.

DAY 4: The challenging dynamic tests of Acceleration and Skippad (CV) engaged the team for almost the entire day, starting in the morning. The day concluded with a key milestone for the Endurance category: the Drivers’ Briefing.

DAY 5: On the final day of racing, we overcame the challenging tests that gave us historic results for our team with the Autocross DV tests. After nine years, we placed third in Endurance and, for the first time in history, we passed the Trackdrive DV. Final Results: Overall: P4

We close this experience with 4th place in CV and DV, which we are extremely satisfied with. We had the opportunity to demonstrate what we are capable of as a team and what the fruit of our project, carried out with dedication, passion, and hundreds of hours spent in the lab, is capable of. We feel compelled to thank everyone who made this possible, including the kids who stayed home to support and cheer us on. A special thanks to those who supported us throughout these months of preparation and training. We assure them that we will never stop; we are constantly marching forward because our journey continues.
